Established in 1999 by owner/director Troy Weeks, Redline Signwriters has proven to be an innovative industry leader in not only vehicle signage and application but all facets of the sign industry.
Troy left school after completing 6th form certificate and trained to be an apprentice signwriter which included design,traditional brush lettering, airbrushing, ticket writing and the evolution of self adhesive vinyl lettering. After his completed qualification Troy then focused on his chosen career by working with some formidable Auckland based sign companies before embarking on creating his own company and direction.
With a desire to work on vehicles and high end race cars, Troy worked hard at the business basics and set a platform with the assistance of his mother and father and mentor Uncle Mike Weeks ( all successful directors of their own companies) from a small shop in New Lynn, Auckland where he could deliver the quality and performance to more than meet the expectations of his growing database.
Within 2 years of forming Redline Signwriters Troy had already worked with the largest professional race team in NZ including numerous trips overseas and servicing cars throughout NZ. This led to the association and servicing of the Porsche GT3 Cup series in NZ for now nine consecutive seasons.
Redline Signwriters now operates out of a purpose built signshop in Three Kings and Troy’s vision for the near future is to increase Redline Signwriters brand awareness, further its industry relationships with 3M and Avery and work hard in the commercial sector to increase the customer database, while maintaining its high quality work standard and professional service.
